Hello to everyone viewing this blog, and to those who aren't ... dudes! dont miss it... Im going to make it the animal lovers dream blog. I dedicate this blog to my mother Shakuntala Majumdar-a remarkable woman, Im proud to call my mother. An ardent advocate of animal welfare and animal rights, she is one of the foremost animal welfare activists in India. As the President of the Thane SPCA, she has taken on the mantle of managing animal welfare, health and rehabilitation issues in the biggest city of India-Thane; a seemingly monumental task, but she forges ahead.
She meets each day headlong and with her associates, brings comfort and shelter to animals all over Thane. God bless you ma, you've inspired me to be who I am today. I respect you immensely(though I dont say it often) for your passion and dedication to the cause and your willingness and determination to do whatever it takes to aid animals in need, and it goes without saying I love you very very much for the Person you are.
For those who know me and call me it, I shall be referring to myself as Twinky and to those who dont know me as Twinky ... I AM SHE
